Cell-free nucleic acids in health and disease

300 billion cells turn over in our bodies every day

Nucleic acids released from these cells give us clues about health and disease

Our lab is interested in the biology of cell-free nucleic acids and their detection and modulation for disease diagnosis and therapy.

We take a multi-disciplinary approach in our research, using techniques in cell and molecular biology, genomics, computational biology and engineering.

Our overall goal is to improve outcomes for patients with cancer and other diseases through discovery and clinical translation.
